Hi, Everyone, My name is Mark A. Lakin,I'm an artist in Topeka Kansas. I've been a artist on an off for thirty years. Started as a airbrush-shirt artist, 1976. In the 80's, I was a custom auto airbrush artist and caricaturist In Tucson. Arizona till 1991. I also in that year my artwork got on the cover of Truckin Mag. The next thing I knew, God looked down at me and said did you have fun in 80's, then I said oboy did I and God said, not any more! I got really sick, my kidneys stopped working and and after extreme amount of tests, from arizona to kansas the doctors said I had paracardious (a virus around my heart) might not live throug

Just wanted to send a hello, glad to see you, I think your work is wonderful, from a fellow Topekan. I hope you find the perfect apprentice at your upcoming fair. It is a real tribute to your ability and dedication that you just keep trying regardless of what life tosses at you. I admire that.
